Fakten Königstiger

  • Am 27.08.2012 musste KÖNIGSTIGER nach einer schweren Verletzung eingeschläfert werden
  • Für das Jahr 2012 wurde KÖNIGSTIGER als Deckhengst im Gestüt Aesculap  aufgestellt, in 2011 war er in Zoppenbroich, davor im Gestüt Fährhof. Der so brillant gezogene Tiger Hill-Sohn gehört dem Gestüt Fährhof. Sein Züchter ist das Gestüt Schlenderhan.
  • KÖNIGSTIGER war selbst ein hervorragendes Rennpferd: er konnte Zweijährig mit dem Gran Criterium ein Gr. I Rennen gewinnen und gehörte auch Dreijährig als Sieger im Union-Rennen (Gr. II) und im Frankfurter Frühjahrspreis (Gr. III) zu den Besten seines Jahrganges. Im letztgenannten Rennen gehörte auch der spätere Derby-Sieger Nicaron zu den geschlagenen Gegnern.
  • KÖNIGSTIGERS GAG ist mit 94 kg recht moderat eingeschätzt. Dies ist jedoch dem Umstand geschuldet, dass der Hengst ein großer Kämpfer war und seine Gegner immer noch im letzten Galoppsprung niederringen konnte. KÖNIGSTIGER ist als Sieger in Gruppe-Rennen aber vollumfänglich angekört. Seine Nachkommen sind damit selbstverständlich voll züchterprämienberechtigt.
